And the results are in ... congratulations to The Uptown, our Chili Cook-Off People’s Choice winner! Their smoky, bacon-filled chili had the crowd coming back for more.

Astera Health and Wadena VFW tied for second place and coming in at a close third was Drastic Measures Brewing!

It was a close vote! With so many delicious chilis to choose from, people had a tough time picking just one favorite. Our contestants did not disappoint, and I’m so proud of everyone who put their time and heart into making them.

What an evening in Wadena! The weather was made for chili, and with 185 votes cast, you all came ready to taste and vote. If you tried a sample at every booth, you enjoyed 24 ounces of chili ... enough that you didn’t need to cook supper when you got home!

Good food, full bellies and neighbors gathered together. That’s a pretty wonderful way to spend an evening.
