Our hearts are heavy today.

Like so many in Wabasha, we are grieving the tragic boating accident that has deeply impacted families with longtime ties to our community. We are keeping the loved ones of those who lost their lives, those who were injured, and everyone affected in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Long before Sippi’s became Sippi’s, it was the Silver Star Saloon. Many of us remember the familiar faces who made it such a special place, and those memories make this loss feel especially close to home.

Wabasha has always been a community that stands together in times of heartbreak. We know the days ahead won’t be easy, but we also know our community’s strength lies in the way we support one another.

From all of us at Sippi’s, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and everyone mourning this unimaginable loss.
