What a night at Rarity Bay Country Club! 🥂🎶

Our White After Dark Party brought together everything we love about club life — great food, live music, a packed clubhouse, plenty of dancing, and most importantly, a lot of fun with friends.

From dinner in the Bay Bistro to everyone making their way onto the dance floor, the energy was fantastic all evening. This is what Rarity Bay is all about — good friends, great memories, and enjoying our club together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came dressed in white and made the evening such a success, as well as our incredible team for making it all happen.

We think White After Dark may need to become a Rarity Bay tradition! 🤍

As part of our continued commitment to improving and maintaining the quality of our golf course, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟳, for scheduled greens and course maintenance.

Because the closure falls on Wednesday and Thursday, we will open the golf course for regular play on Monday, September 14, which would normally be our maintenance day.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆

Rather than performing a traditional aerification, our Team will be utilizing DryJect on the greens. DryJect uses high-pressure water to create small channels in the putting surface while simultaneously injecting sand into the soil profile. This process helps relieve compaction, improve drainage and oxygen movement, and promote healthier root development.

One of the biggest advantages of DryJect is that it provides many of the agronomic benefits associated with traditional aerification while creating significantly less disruption to the putting surface and a quicker return to normal playing conditions.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿

While we certainly understand that closing the golf course is an inconvenience, dedicated maintenance days are an important part of providing the playing conditions our Members expect and deserve.

In addition to the DryJect process, the two-day closure will allow our agronomy Team to address several other areas of the golf course and complete applications and treatments that are most effective when they can be performed with minimal interruption from golfers and cart traffic. Having uninterrupted access also allows our Team to work more efficiently and accomplish significantly more than they can during a normal day of play.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this brief closure. These maintenance practices are important investments in the long-term health and playability of our golf course, and our goal is always to minimize disruption while continuing to improve the conditions you enjoy throughout the season.
