Y’all are keeping us BUSY, and we are so grateful! ❤️ Lacy’s Cakes, Catering & Café is growing fast, and we need another team member! Help us find the perfect person!

We’re looking for someone who:

💪 Isn’t afraid of hard work—things move fast around here!
😁 Is good… no, GREAT with people!
🫧 Will wash dishes. Sadly, they still haven’t learned to wash themselves.
🤝 Is a team player who jumps in where needed.
✨ Keeps things clean and organized.
👩‍🍳 Has some kitchen experience—a HUGE plus!
💵 Can accurately count money and make change.
❤️ Cares about our customers and wants to help our business grow.
🎶 Is comfortable working with Christian music playing in the shop. People of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to apply!
🏃 Is ready to start ASAP!

Y’allllll… THIS CAKE!!! 😍🎂 And a grazing table, too?! Two of my absolute favorite things to create!

But what made this celebration extra special was the occasion: a 25-year vow renewal. Twenty-five years of choosing each other, and a beautiful reason to celebrate all over again! ❤️

I’m so happy for these two and so grateful we got to be part of their day. Here’s to many more years together! 🥂

Have I mentioned that wedding cakes are my absolute FAVORITE things to make?! 🤍🎂

They’re challenging, they demand perfection (at least in my eyes 😅), and the pressure is REAL. And delivery? Whew. I trust my stacking and my driving, but if you’ve ever hauled a wedding cake down an East Tennessee mountain back road, you know that’s a whole different kind of adrenaline rush! 🫣

But then the next day, you get a call saying the cake was beautiful and delicious—and that the venue had never seen guests come back for THIRDS?!

Every nerve-racking mile was worth it. ❤️❤️❤️

The most beautiful part about donating to Greenback School is watching these children say bring it in, watch them all huddle and hear them say a BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL, PRAYER no coach was there, it was all them and although I didn’t hear the entire thing hearing a Middle School boy lead his team in prayer made me shed a tear!!!! ANYWAY… GO KEES!

Happy Monday, friends!! ❤️

In my true transparent fashion, I have some stuffs to tell ya!

First, I want to say THANK YOU for all the kind words, prayers, love, and—most of all—patience you showed us this past week.

Last Tuesday began with Staci (aka Maddix) being rushed to Children’s Hospital after her lab work came back extremely elevated. We spent the week attending appointments, seeing doctors, and trying to figure out exactly what was happening and why. At the same time, we were preparing to send our oldest off to the Army.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster! 🥺

By Friday, we were able to see a specialist and finally received a diagnosis. First and foremost, THANK YOU, JESUS! 🙌 We are incredibly grateful because it is manageable, and one simple pill each day should help get our girl feeling like herself again.

In the middle of all the chaos, Bryce was packing for Basic Training—and, in true Bryce fashion, he still showed up to help run the shop for a few days while we handled everything with his sister. That boy has one of the biggest hearts, and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

This morning, he raised his right hand, climbed onto a bus, and officially headed off to Basic Training! 🇺🇸

I’m so incredibly proud…but this mama’s heart is also just a little bit broken today. 😢 Watching your children grow up, chase their dreams, and step into the life God has planned for them is both beautiful and incredibly hard.

So, if I seem a little emotional, scattered, or quieter than usual, just know this mama and business owner has been riding one heck of an emotional roller coaster!

Thank you again for loving our family, praying for our babies, supporting our small business, and giving us grace when life gets a little heavy. We truly have the very best people surrounding us. ❤️

Please continue to keep Staci in your prayers as her body adjusts to her medication—and say an extra prayer for Bryce as he begins this exciting new chapter.

God is good, even in the chaos. 🙏🇺🇸
