I want to say "Say it's not so"... but it is true.
If you haven't heard or gotten your copy of The North Lake Outpost yet, The Blackwater Inn & Williams Landing has been sold & new owners will take over mid-august and close for a few weeks for renovations. The restaurant is open tentatively until August 9th. I know this was a hard decision for Bill and you have to admit 37 years is a long time, lol. I know he has been there day & night, sometimes 6-7 days a week. Yes, He has taken some days off but only when threatened by Tina & staff. I've known Bill for over 50 years from school, Franks Freeze Inn, Lampost, Chicago's & Blackwater Inn. He's worked every position in a restaurant that is possible and I will always admire his dedication, hard work & love for the restaurant business. I wish you & Tina the best, It's time to relax but if I know Bill, it won't be long, he might have to light that grill. 😎
