Hi guys, thank you for your concern and your support. Unfortunately, it had been an extremely long rough ride for us. As you know, we opened at the end of 2019 in Virginia Beach and 2020 January in Boulder. Both locations were extremely well received multiple awards, great support from the communities but Covid left us without staff. I personally flew back-and-forth about 30 times during Covid so that I could take turns working in each restaurant. It was extremely hard on the entire family at each location. We had to close boulder and one of the trucks. General Booth Boulevard location ended up having the ceiling collapse, and the AC busted without any support from the landlord it made it virtually impossible to continue without a healthy environment for our customers. There was not money left to find a new location and open a new restaurant . We decided to hang onto one of the trucks and see if we could make a go of it, unfortunately an all vegan food truck is not a successful venture. We gave it one more shot with a contract with Aramark after they met with us and added us to their RFP for William and Mary last September. Unfortunately, after we made a $10,000 investment and reestablished๏ฟผthe brand & the business, the wrap for the truck, they defaulted on promises of a guarantee and minimal to no advertising that put us in a financial position that we could not continue to go forward. I believe we wouldโve had an amazing brand without Covid and the obstacles that surrounded us over the 24 to 36 months was just exhausting and mentally draining. We appreciate everyoneโs support at this time. We have changed into Solana Street Food specializes in vegan vegetarian and carnivore Puerto Rican cuisine. We hope you will come. Thank you from India Ayala & Cassandra Ayala
