Well, it’s time to share some news. Our years of smoking, saucing, slicing, stirring, rubbing, chopping, and mixing are coming to an end. We make this decision with a heavy heart but with our eyes set on the future.
For all the folks that come in and ask “Hey, where’s the old guy nowadays?” - Warren has been diligently tending to his yard (he likes that stuff), enjoying nature, and spending time with his grandkids for a couple years now and he looks forward to many more. You may find him living his dream of selling tomatoes along a country road one of these days.
I myself - Chris, the tall guy often receiving the questions about the old guy - have my eyes set on my family. My wife, soon to be 3 kids, 2 cats, and 1 dog. I’ll be entering the world of education, working towards teaching high school after finding fulfillment in training and teaching young employees over the years. I fulfilled a dream in running this place and I will always be grateful.
It has been a privilege to have been supported by our customers through the years. It means everything to have had the opportunity to cook for you, to fill your belly, and to hopefully put a smile on your face. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And thank you to our amazing staff, some of whom have been around since we opened over 13 years ago.
Our last day of service is slated for Friday, September 30th but we’re not slowing down yet. We will still be loading up the smoker nightly and we would love to see you before we go!
