We had the pleasure of attending the Ordinary Awards, celebrating the incredible people and businesses that make Virginia’s hospitality and tourism industry so special.

I’m incredibly honored to have been one of three people selected from across Virginia for Bartender of the Year, and even more grateful to have been named Virginia’s Bartender of the Year.

But honestly, one of my favorite parts of the night was getting to be in a room filled with so many hardworking, passionate people in this industry. Hospitality isn’t always easy, and it was pretty amazing to take a moment to celebrate the people who show up every day and give so much to their teams, their guests, and their communities.

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated and to all of the winners! We only got to catch up with a few of you, but we loved seeing everyone and celebrating together.

Feeling very grateful for this industry, the people in it, and especially the people who have supported me along the way.

Thank you, Ordinary Awards, for an unforgettable night! ❤️

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and honor the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who showed incredible courage in the face of tragedy. 🇺🇸

At Ocean Eddie’s, we’re proud to raise the Freedom Flag. The flag is a beautiful symbol of freedom, strength, unity, and remembrance,a reminder that even in the face of unimaginable loss, the spirit of our country continues to endure.
