Original opened as a 50's style diner with less than 45 seats. Charlie's menu consists of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and specializes in Cajun Creole cuisine. Over time our menu grew and our customers as well. In 2001, we purchased Good Time Grocery, formally known as the first movie theater of St Bernard Parish in the 40's and 50's. Some say, the care taker (Ted) still lingers around. Few have se

en him, tall slender man walking around the first floor. Always walking in the direction of our party room. Which has been modified into a small theater room in 2003. Used for power point presentation and movies. Quite ironic, I would say. but true, I never found out about Ted until after the projector was installed. Charlie's restaurant has one of St Bernard's largest menu's, with over 300 menu items to choose from a 8 page menu. Cajun Creole is our specialty, but we have a few Southwest dishes that are fabulous. From Breakfast to Dinner, 7 days a week. Only closed on holidays as special as Jesus himself (Christmas, New Years, Easter and Independents day)
Charlie's also specializes in CATERING. From 2 to 2000 guest. We have everything you need to make your special event a very special one. Weddings, Baby Showers, Business Meetings, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner, Rehearsal Parties, etc.. Charlie's is ready to serve your next event. Our number is 504-682-9057.
