Sunday, September 20th is National Pepperoni Pizza Day, so we’re celebrating all weekend long with our Loaded Pepperoni Pizza!

And we’re pretty proud of this one…

🏆 Our Loaded Pepperoni was named Best Pepperoni Slice in the Southeast at Pizza Expo Columbus 2025!

🍕❤️ Family Business Means a Little More Around Here

Most folks know Viola’s Pizza Company is a family-owned and operated business. Brian and Sara Covert own it, our daughters both currently work alongside us, and through the years, plenty of our own family members have taken their turn behind the counter, at the oven, or wherever they were needed.

But one of the sweetest parts of being a family business is getting to welcome other families into ours, too.

For the past several years, Connor has been part of our crew. We’ve watched him work, learn, grow, and become someone we could count on. Now college is taking him on to his next adventure—and his sister Audrey is stepping in to join our staff! ❤️

And you know what? We love that.

Over the years, we’ve had siblings follow siblings and family members recommend family members. We never take lightly that parents trust us with their kids for some of their very first jobs. We get the opportunity to teach them how to work hard, show up, serve people well, be part of a team, and take pride in doing a job the right way.

We hope they learn a little about pizza while they’re here. 😉 But even more, we hope they learn a few things they’ll carry with them long after they’ve moved on from Viola’s Pizza Company.

So we’re wishing Connor all the best as he heads off to college, and we’re excited to officially welcome Audrey to the crew!

Around here, family-owned has a way of growing into family-filled. 🍕❤️

As we celebrate nine years of Viola’s Pizza Company today, we’ve been thinking a lot about the numbers on this little page.

We certainly don’t take 7.9K followers for granted. Every follow, share, comment, tag, recommendation, and kind word has helped a tiny pizza shop in Viola, Tennessee, keep doing what we love.

But that very last number stopped us in our tracks:
