I owned the building since 2017. Rented it, the downstairs, at a very cheap rate to the previous tenants. When they closed I opened Absolutely Delicious. It was what I wanted to do in 2017 but was already working 3 jobs, and raising my children. My whole family helped me from day one, gave everything we had, worked 60 to 80 hours a week, paid our employees a fair but decent hourly wage and was never not even once late paying my employees. We took great pride in our cleanliness, the freshness of food, giving great customer service with a smile and treated like a human, like you're supposed to be treated when you're being served. We gave everything we had. We loved our job because we loved our customers. We tried to make everybody happy and give them quality fresh food that was clean, cooked, and served with 100%. Love. Prepared and served with the utmost care. I want to thank my two Sons, Jacob Thacker and Justin Thacker for supporting me and working non-stop without pay, sacrificing everything in both of their lives to support their Mother and the business. Unfortunately due to I guess what you could call a domino effect, our landlord sold the building considering he had 1% more leverage on myself, I had no option. I will forever cherish the hard work even though we failed to stay open it wasn't our choice. I still see it as a major accomplishment. We love everyone of our customers and appreciate all of the love and support you gave us. We will all truly miss you. Thank you Chris Bell . We love you like family and you have been there for us from the beginning and still with us now. I highly recommend anybody that needs a food service to please reach out to him as will not be disappointed. Thank you my neighbor Vinton Pawn Shop , Pat. You are the best, buddy. Thanks to Town of Vinton, Virginia Government for the patience and support. Thanks Angie Bell Chewning ❤️ for everything you helped with. Thank you Vinton Police Department, VA for always looking out for us. ❤️ Thank you to my dedicated staff. We will miss you all.
