Running Rebel Roast has been one of the most rewarding, exhausting, beautiful, and growth-filled seasons of my life. This community showed up for me in ways I will never forget, and I am endlessly grateful for every person who supported this dream.
Sometimes growth means recognizing when an environment is no longer aligned with your standards, your values, or your long-term vision.
Over the past year, there have been operational and environmental challenges behind the scenes that made it increasingly difficult to run the business the way I believe it should be run. I worked hard to find solutions and to advocate not only for myself and the business, but the entire Vinita community, and ultimately I had to make the decision that was best for my business and my future.
I am proud that I never compromised my faith, my values, or my standards in order to make a quick buck. I will always choose integrity over convenience.
To be very clear: I am not leaving because Rebel Roast failed. Rebel Roast exceeded every goal I had for it. I am choosing to step into environments that better support the level of care, effort, and integrity I bring to what I build.
March 31 will be Rebel Roast’s last day in this location.
This is not an ending it’s a pivot (with a new location coming soon). And I am incredibly excited for what comes next.
Thank you for being part of this chapter.
Onward and upward.
