It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing we are closing our business.
With the price of food and gas going up and the ongoing ridiculous fees for food trucks, I do not feel that we are able to sustain selling tacos at a reasonable price. Also, if I was 10-15 years younger...well, I think you know what I mean, lol! It's a ton of work towing a restaurant around. I have had a blast doing this!
First, I want to thank those who believed in me and supported me. From our customers, to my sisters - Robin and Dawn, to my investors (you know who you are), to my mom, siblings and extended family, to my husband, Luke - who did everything - maintenance, prep cook and sous chef! lol!
Second...please continue to support local food trucks. Remember when you are buying their food, they need to account into the prices not just for the food but also for everything needed to be where they are selling...supplies, gas, site fees, auto insurance, etc.... They are just small businesses trying to make it in a tough food truck industry! There are some great, hard working people in those food trucks and I am happy that I got to meet and work next to some of them!
I will be shutting down our FB page and website soon.
Thank you all for making this one of the best decisions I ever made!
