Well, you guys absolutely crushed that! We hit over 15,000 followers within the day. Now the road to 20K!

We are finally settling in to running 3 stores!

Additional growth has allowed us to focus on our business and ways we can make it even better! From adding ice cream in Barlow, Bagels to all locations, paid holidays for employees, and updating our Loyalty online so now you get points for everything you purchase—not just drinks! We’ve also started to focus on “line-busting” during major rush hours. We can send someone out with an iPad and take your orders and them ready when you get to the window! It’s speeding up the massive lines!

We have even more exciting things planned, and are consistently looking at ways to make our business better for the customer, but also for our amazing baristas. They have absolutely crushed the chaos of opening another store. They have played pivotal roles in helping us and one another. We couldn’t be more proud of all the young adults we have here!

We are nearing 15,000 followers on Facebook! If we reach that goal we will pick 3 followers and give them a FREE TRAY OF MEDIUM DRINKS. That’s right, 4 free drinks for you and your friends. One tray for each location!

Here at Roseland we have always believed in looking to see how we can maximize our business to ensure our customers have the best experience. If the customers are happy, we are happy! Building consistent relationships and a loyal community means doing what is best for everyone. So, we have been working behind the scenes to give you guys a big surprise!

Starting tomorrow we will be transitioning to an Online Loyalty Program!

What does this mean? Starting tomorrow we will not be giving out any new stamp cards, but you can still get your current ones stamped until filled, or redeem full ones! We will do this until June 1st! That gives you 2 weeks to use up for freebies or finish your current card! So starting tomorrow you will have the choice to get your stamps, or sign up for online loyalty. All you need to do is input the phone number you want the account linked to. Then you can earn your points and enroll! Once enrolled, your account can be placed in your Apple or Samsung Wallet! Being enrolled can also allow you to stay in the loop if we ever decide to send out an email with special deals or new drinks(don’t worry we won’t bombard you with spam).

Our new system has some exciting new benefits. You get a point for every dollar you spend! Your points build up and you can redeem them for special treats! This means that you no longer only get a “stamp” for when you get a drink. You also will get points when you purchase food, ice cream, or anything else! Let’s break it down:

• 100 points gets you a FREE drink of ANY size. That’s right, you can now get larges with your reward!

• 40 points gets you a FREE Bagel of your choice.

• 30 points gets your a FREE Scone of your choice.

• 25 points gets you a FREE Cookie of your choice!

One of our favorite memories growing up in Barlow was heading over to the old Dairy Bar after evening sports or on the weekends. You couldn’t find a parking spot! Everyone would be there getting ice cream and talking. Half of the fun was going just to see who was there! No phones, no computers, no internet to fill our attention spans. Just good conversation, visiting, and spending time with your family.

We started serving ice cream in the summer 2 years ago in hopes of bringing that spark back to families. So often now these once popular businesses struggle to get the same traffic. It’s not necessarily because the business changed, but society did. People are tired. We worked all day and just want to go home to rest, watch tv, or look at our phone. We aren’t spending as much time with our kids without screens. It’s not intentional—the world has just changed. But we want to bring it back! Put the phones down, bring the family, and fill your soul up with things that matter! Time is precious and building relationships with your community and family are the things that you will cherish most. So come grab a scoop, cup, ice cream sandwich, or anything else! Make some memories and forget about the world on a screen!
