🍰 JULY WEEKEND SPECIALS: KICKING OFF WITH A FAMILY FAVORITE! 🍰
We are starting a brand-new tradition this month! Every single weekend in July, I’m going to be bringing you a special, limited-edition treat that you won't normally find in our cases.
To kick off the very first weekend, I wanted to bake something incredibly close to my heart. If you know me, you know how much family means to me—and so many of my favorite memories are wrapped up in the kitchen. For this week's special, I’ve brought together two of the absolute best bakers I know to create the ultimate nostalgic mashup.

✨ The Indiana Sheet Cake ✨
This is pure family love in baking form, combining two generations of tried-and-true recipes into something uniquely local:
The Base: A traditional, ultra-moist Texas sheet cake—the kind baked on a big cookie sheet that perfectly locks in the moisture. This comes straight from my Nana’s treasured recipe. It is the exact cake that filled our home with cozy chocolate aromas growing up.
The Top: I wanted to pair that perfect base with something equally special, so I turned to my Mom's classic no-bake cookie recipe. With a little bit of kitchen editing, I transformed her exact flavor profile into a rich, velvety fudge icing. It has all that fudgy, comforting no-bake flavor you love, just completely oat-free so it spreads beautifully over the cake.
Taking a bite of this feels like a warm hug from the two women who inspired me to bake in the first place. I am so excited to share a piece of my family kitchen with yours this weekend!
