♥️ We know it’s been a little while since we’ve shared an update, and we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience, support, and the many messages of encouragement we’ve received along the way.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working closely with our insurance company and the county to finalize a game plan for reopening Lassen Steakhouse. While these processes can take time, please know that progress is being made, and we’re getting closer to being able to share more details about what comes next.

Lassen Steakhouse has always been more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where friends gather, families celebrate, stories are shared, and memories are made. Seeing how much this place means to our community has been both humbling and inspiring during this journey.

We miss serving you. We miss seeing familiar faces walk through our doors. Most of all, we can’t wait for the day we welcome everyone back and create new memories together.

Thank you for sticking with us, believing in us, and reminding us why this place is so special. We’ll have more information to share soon.

🎉 Happy New Year, everyone! We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the unbelievable support during our Christmas prime rib dinner. You blew us away, and we sold to max capacity! We could use your input as we go into 2026!

We want to know everyone’s thoughts on doing take and bake dinners like these more often—either steak packs or cooking kits like our last prime rib! 😍 Some might call it a Christmas miracle, but we prepped more prime rib than we needed! We’ve got a decent amount left, so if you weren’t able to get your order in before we sold out or if you need extra, come on down to Lassen Steakhouse and grab it! We’ll be cutting and packing it up for $30/lb until 3pm!

🎁 🥩 Ladies and gentlemen, it’s Monday, and that means we have our winners for the Lassen Steakhouse Christmas Prime Rib Giveaway!

♥️ Before we announce them, we want to take a moment to thank our friends at for offering use of their kitchen to prepare all of these prime ribs and make our Christmas Prime Rib Take Home Dinner possible after the fire destroyed our kitchen.

♥️ We also want to thank local realtor Effie Khaki for her generous donation that allowed us to pick five winners instead of just one! Thank you for making the giveaway possible for more people this year!

In total, we’ll be preparing over 650 pounds of prime rib for Christmas, and we don’t have the words to express how humbled and thankful we are for each and every one of you who bought a prime rib and/or helped us get the word out by participating in the giveaway.

The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult, but this has meant the world to us, and we can’t wait to see some familiar faces during the prime rib pick up on Wednesday between 9am-3pm!

♥️ Words can’t express how thankful I am for all of you who have come out in support of Lassen Steakhouse. When I say this means the world to us, I truly mean THE WORLD. It hasn’t been easy navigating the experience of seeing something we’ve worked so hard to build these past three years go up in flames. Even though it’s only temporary, it’s been a lot for our family and staff to process, but all of the love and encouragement we’ve been given has kept us positive.

We’re excited to have some uplifting announcements coming up over the next few weeks that we can’t wait to share with you! In the meantime, we’re ALMOST sold out of our Christmas Prime Rib tickets thanks to all of you and our friends at ! If you haven’t placed your order, we have a handful of tickets remaining!

🎄🥩 It’s been a chaotic couple weeks since the fire, and we couldn’t be more thankful to all of you for your messages of love, support, and encouragement. We have an update on our reopening coming soon! In the meantime, we’ve received countless requests regarding our yearly Christmas prime rib offering, and thanks to our friends at Chata’s Brunchies Cafe in Corning, who have offered to let us use their kitchen, we’re happy to announce we’ll be able to offer our cook-at-home prime rib dinner again this year!

🐈‍⬛ Though the last few days have been harrowing and a whirlwind for our family and staff, there are a couple individuals who rely on us that have also been affected, and they could use some help.

When we took over the restaurant, we inherited a number of adorable outdoor cats, and they have relied on us for food and care since we moved in. They’re all so sweet, but as a result of the fire and our temporary closure, no one is there to care for them. We’ve taken one in but need help with the rest.

If anyone is able to help feed, foster, or is interested in giving one of these sweet cats a home, please drop a line in the comments.
