Ville Platte has a very good Chinese food place but since they only serve take out, people forget or are unaware of it. It has some great food, but you must order head and pick up only. Their menu is below. It is called The Chinese Kitchen and is located on the west side of town on the right side of Main ST. going west just past the Tabacco Tavern. Try it.

Four generations in one photo! We got the opportunity to drive 1,000 miles from North Carolina to visit family. Time truly flies by and we try to not take it for granted. Pop got to visit with his great grandchildren as well as his grandson, and we appreciated the moments we got to spend with Pop and Thuan Le.
Our children don’t get to see their grandmother often, but when they do, they don’t want to leave “grandmas” house. And seeing these happy faces is nothing that money can buy. 🩷
