Hi Friends!

We just got a new tea to try and possibly add to our menu! Please comment if you have ever tried Houjicha!

So far I have made an Iced Houjicha Latte, a Hot Houjicha Latte, and Caramel Houjicha Latte 🫖! I like the Caramel the most.

Houjicha is a Japanese Green Tea that has been roasted, so it's warm brown in color. It has an earthy, nutty, flavor and a less caffeine than Matcha. We make it similarly to Matcha with a finely ground powder, but we also have a loose tea version that I plan to try!

I'll be making Caramel Houjicha Lattes tomorrow, until we run out!

See you tomorrow for Pumpkin Spice, Frittatas, and Houjicha!
