If you didn’t hear, we had a little garden heartbreak this past month. 🌿🐝

First we want to say— We absolutely love the Town of Vienna and are honored to be in this beautiful town. 🫶💓❤️

After an unfortunate report (which we understand!) with our beloved bee hive (RULE: not permitted in commercial zone) and a nearby resident concern, we were cited by the town and asked to move the bee hive promptly.

Out of caution and to avoid any future conflict, we were also asked by building management to remove the side garden we had cared for so lovingly.

It was frustrating and honestly a little heartbreaking.

But then our town did what our town does best — showed up. ❤️

Because of the community coming together, we were granted permission to reimagine and rebuild our garden & start anew.

So many kind neighbors have offered plants, items, time, and love to help restore the beautiful garden that once lined our side.

Thank you to every volunteer who showered us with kindness when our spirits were low. You reminded us how beautiful community can be. 🌸🌷🌹🌺🌻🌼

A special shoutout to Lisa Waters of Lisa Heffern Waters who was project lead on the restoring of our garden. ☀️🌈

We will do all we can to follow guidelines on zoning & to assure everyone— our bees are safe in their new spot. 🙏🐝
