Now that I have some peoples attention with my recent posts about our updated Menu and Catering Options, I have some extremely important news for you. As anyone who has known me for a long time or is my friend, they all know that I absolutely HATE TECHNOLOGY! I run a simple old school restaurant that keeps things nice and simple. We do our orders with paper and pen. We do not have a P.O.S. system on the counter, because to me, that is what they are (fill in the acronym letters for yourself). l do not do online ordering because that is a headache that I don't need either. I also do not use Door Dash or Grub Hub or whatever other delivery services are out there. (Although the internet falsely claims that I do). I keep things as simple as possible. I also do not use this AI crap, because that is exactly what it is. Crap. AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, which is not real knowledge and is pretty far from the actual truth of things. Recently it has come to my attention that AI has been installed on some peoples computers and phones. Do yourself and me a favor and do not fall into the trap of AI. Apparently whoever is in charge of this AI garbage has taken it upon themselves to infiltrate my business profile. Here is an example. 3 weeks ago I took a HALF DAY off on a Saturday so that my rock and roll band could have a practice session. AI has twisted this one time occurence to be read as "The owner is a part time ROCKSTAR who closes EVERY Saturday so that he can pursue his rock and roll dreams". WRONG! We did it ONE time!!! Now there will be people who won't call on Saturdays because they think that we will be closed EVERY SATURDAY because they "read it on the internet". (And by the way, I don't think I am a Rockstar). AI has also taken it upon itself to write a business summary for me, which is full of things that would never EVER come out of my mouth. This summary makes me look like some kind of pompous jerk. Now I am going to have to waste my precious time on my day off to go back into the history of my business posts and erase old news because the 2nd and 3rd posts that come after the "Rockstar" thing are from 7 or 10 years ago! Not exactly current news, but some people don't know what a time stamp is. (7Y=this post was from 7 YEARS ago). Now I won't be able to go fishing with my family tonight because I have to spend this time defending myself and the reputation of my business because if i don't, people will continue to get false information. In closing, if you want to know the truth about my business, skip the gossip or the rumors or the trash that some people like to spread and ask me any questions that you may have directly. And tell your phone No Thanks to the "AI assistance"
