🌭 Hot Diggity Dog Update 🌭

Hey Diggity friends we’ve missed y’all more than you know! 💛
We’re sorry it’s been quiet on our end, but life has been a bit of a rollercoaster lately.

Kim gave it everything she had trying to handle the chemo cream, but her body just couldn’t handle it.
She’s a warrior and gave it hell, but it was simply too much. Her team of doctors is now regrouping and will be scheduling surgery once she’s had a chance to heal and regain some strength.

In the meantime, we had a little health scare with my father-in-law, but he is on the mend again!

Then, just last night Kim had a fall that landed us in the ER early this morning. She’s okay but in a lot if pain! We are waiting to get her all checked out.

We’ll try to do better at keep you all posted. Thank you for being part of our Hot Diggity Dog family. ❤️

❤️💛 We just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, love, and kind words. Your support means so much to us.
Some of you already know, but for those who don’t, we want to share a little about what Kim is going through. While her situation isn’t ideal, we are truly grateful! It could be much worse!
Out of respect for Kim’s privacy, we won’t go into too much detail, but we do want to share that she’s been living with this condition for over 20 years. It’s a common diagnosis, and for most people, once treated, it doesn’t return. But in Kim’s case, it’s extremely aggressive and persistent.
Right now, she’s facing a quarter-sized precancerous area in a spot that has recurred many times. The usual treatment involves cutting and radiation, but after two decades of surgeries, the scar tissue in this sensitive area makes that option incredibly painful and difficult. That’s why Kim has bravely chosen to try a chemo cream treatment instead.
At this stage she is not in any danger! Her team of doctors are amazingand stay ontop of her treatments but the treatment is extremely uncomfortable and limiting. She’s using burn cream to help with the pain, and certain clothing will be off-limits for a while.
We’re praying this works and she won’t need another surgery, but if she does, we know she’ll face it with the same grace and strength she always has.
Kim is one of the strongest people we know, and we’re so proud of her. Thank you again for lifting her up in your thoughts and prayers. You all are trulythe best!

💔We’ve got some bittersweet news to share🌭

We’re closing our trailer at Lakeview Grocery. 💔
This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one we’re making with love, intention, and a whole lot of hope.

Kim recently got some tough news from her latest biopsy and needed to start her treatments right away. She was hoping to keep the trailer open, but the chemo cream has been incredibly painful and makes it impossible to continue right now.
We’re putting Kim’s health first and she is taking every step to give her body time to heal and fight with strength and grace. 💪💖

We are hitting pause — not goodbye!

🌭Hot Diggity Dog is Back Tomorrow🌭

Hey Diggity friends! We’ve missed you and Kim is so excited to be firing up the grill again tomorrow!

We may not have received the news we had hoped for, but it’s still better news than it could have been!

While the road ahead includes treatment that may keep Kim from opening the trailer some days, she is fully committed to our Diggity family and will be there as often as she possibly can!

Your support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful for the love and encouragement you’ve shown. We’re ready to serve up smiles, hot dogs, and all the good vibes — one bun at a time.
