The Story Behind the Portrait

If you’ve been to Casa Leon, you’ve probably noticed the portrait on our wall.

The man in that portrait is Ruben Leon.

It’s more than a piece of artwork. It represents the man whose vision, hard work, and dedication helped lay the foundation for everything that followed.

From Las Palmas to La Cantina, and now Casa Leon, his journey has grown into something much bigger than one restaurant.

Today, that legacy continues with a new chapter: Grupo Leon — a name that brings our restaurants, our family, and our vision for the future together.

So the next time you walk through the doors of Casa Leon and see his portrait, you’ll know the story behind it.
