It's been another successful day. We passed out all of our plates. For the 4th of July we had
Pulled pork sandwiches
Pickled onions and jalapeños
Coleslaw or potato salad
Deviled eggs
Watermelon
Cookies
And cold drinks

If I'm being real with you guys for a second, sometimes successful days can be fun because we get to see people we have grown to consider friends and meet and help new people.
Then days like today have us driving home in silence processing everything we have seen and the fact there is only so much we can do.
While we are far from being able to afford our shelter to be able to get everyone out of this heat, we are doing our best to keep everyone hydrated.
If you have read this far a part of you cares whether it be because you have a heart the for homeless but don't know how to help, walking to your car has you breaking a sweat that quickly or its something you haven't really considered before and a part of you is interested.
