Join us for Stories in a Bottle: The Story of Kentucky Bourbon, an evening with Rhonda Shires, founder and Executive Bourbon Steward of . Through five chapters, five pours, and thoughtfully paired small bites from the kitchen, Rhonda will guide us through the people, places, and pivotal moments that shaped Kentucky’s signature spirit.
The Frontier — The Whiskey Rebellion and the birth of bourbon on Kentucky soil.
The River — Flatboats traveling down the Kentucky River to New Orleans, carrying Kentucky bourbon out into the world.
The Visionaries — The rectifiers and rule makers who raised the standard, culminating in the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and new protections for what was real.
The Dark Years — Prohibition, shuttered distilleries, and the families who found a way to hold on.
The Renaissance — New distilleries, bold ideas, and the next chapter of Kentucky bourbon still being written today.
