After more than a year of pouring our love, time, and energy into bringing the Rails to life, it is with heavy hearts that we are announcing a permanent closure.
Throughout the renovations, countless late nights, working on holidays, and missing time with family, there was still an unshakable belief in what this place could become. What started as a dream that was truly built with blood, sweat, and tears, was turned into a beautiful space that we were very proud of.
Unfortunately, despite all that was invested we could not sustain the business without a steady flow of patrons, however we really appreciate the ones who showed up. The absence and delay of a liquor license played a major role in this reality, making it financially impossible to continue operating long-term on such slim margins.
This was not an easy decision, but it is a necessary one. While the Rails may be permanently closing, the effort, determination, and heart that went into building it will always hold a special place in our story.
A special thank you shout-out goes to the staff we adore, our family and friends for unwaivering support, Adam our contractor for all of his help, village vantage for finding the building, and to Versailles Council for all of their fine work.
