🥯🍩With most people making a concerted effort to eat healthily, Fat Thursday offers the perfect excuse to enjoy a treat day and celebrate a much-loved morsel of confectionary that has delighted crowds throughout the ages. Eating doughnuts is not just a means of satisfying the stomach before Lent. According to folklore, stocking up on these delights is also bound to bring good luck. What’s not to like? 😊

So it’s also a nice gesture to gift paczkis to colleagues, friends, and relatives, so why not share the love and introduce others to the brilliant celebration that is Fat Thursday? Statistics indicate that the average person consumes 2.5 paczki, so don’t hold back! 🥯🍩

It’s been a while, but I wanted to post about local restaurants that offer Ukrainian and Polish foods. The Polish people, as a country, have really stepped up to help. All of the restaurants below have family and friends in Poland and Ukraine; please stop in and enjoy delicious food, and offer them a kind word.

While I haven’t found local places serving Romanian cuisine yet (Romanian or Moldavia) - I’m always happy to add to this list!
