It’s hard to find the words to describe the heartbreak that Kelly has left us all feeling.

Kelly had a way of making everyone laugh. He was always up for a good time, and if someone needed a hand, he was one of the first to show up—especially during fair week. As we head into fair week this year, I know his absence will be felt by so many.

The love Kelly had for his family was something you could see every single day. Blaine and I feel incredibly lucky to have had both Kirs and Kelly in our lives, and even more fortunate that their daughters have become such good friends of ours. We always looked forward to seeing them whenever they came home.

One of the memories I’ll treasure forever is spending the Fourth of July together with the O’Connor family this year. Looking back now, it feels even more special, and I’m so thankful we had that time together.

The memories Kelly leaves behind are forever etched into our hearts. They are some of my favorite memories, especially if there happened to be a little champagne involved. His laughter, kindness, and the joy he brought to every room will never be forgotten.

Kelly, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and for reminding all of us to enjoy life a little more. Until we meet again. Cheers 🍻

We had the pleasure of adding another familiar face from the USD Coyotes family to the wall at Bunyan’s. More than just a jersey, it represents the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and character it took to earn it.

We’ve all faced moments in life where it feels like the rug has been pulled out from under us. Just when things finally seem to be looking up, life has a way of knocking us back down. Daniel is facing one of those moments right now. At just 18 years old, he bought his first pickup with the money he had worked so hard to save, only to lose it in a fire less than 30 minutes later. If you’re able, let’s come together as a community and remind him that even after life’s hardest setbacks, there are still good people willing to help someone get back on their feet. Every act of kindness, big or small, makes a difference. ❤️
