Hey everybody! So I might get my legs broke next time I go back to Chicago for this, but here we go nonetheless...
This weekend we will be running a limited debut of a new addition to our menu: The Italian Turkey au Jus Sandwich. Think of it as a beef with training wheels, or as a delicious bastardized version of the Italian beef with a west coast spin for all of the non-beef eaters and those interested in trying a new creation.
It is savory and juicy all white meat turkey breast, slow roasted and sliced on site. We then reintroduce the sliced meat to our turkey jus, containing the natural turkey drippings and our same herb and seasoning blend as the traditional beef, only made with turkey stock instead. We will also have the turkey combo available (a sweet turkey sausage topped with the Italian turkey and your choice of sweet peppers, our spicy giardiniera, or both). Provolone cheese is always an option as well.
