Today isn’t just about Flags Waving in the Wind… 🇺🇸
It’s about the people who stood beneath them.
The Pilots who flew into Danger✈️
The Marines who served with Courage💪
The Sailors who crossed dark waters far from Home⚓️
The families who waited, prayed🙏 sacrificed, and carried the weight of War long after it Ended✨️
My grandfather was a WWII B-17 Pilot❤️
My grandmother proudly served in the U.S. Marines🤍
And my children’s great-grandfather proudly served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marines during WWII💙
Though life changed after 25 years of marriage, I will always Honor and respect the military legacy that remains part of our family’s story✨️
As I look through these memories, flags, sunsets, memorials, and moments of quiet reflection… I’m reminded that freedom was never free✨️
Today I honor the fallen.
I honor the brave.
And I honor the families whose Love and Sacrifice became part of America’s Story.
