The free willing chef who landed himself in New York straight from Hong Kong decided that he would create a restaurant in pursuit of that perfect take-out for the New York crowd. s been carried over as the first WW opened its doors in the Venice Beach area in 1985 by the same chef who moved to California. Since then, WW has been featuring the "New York Style Chinese Cuisine" (Cantonese Hong Kong style cooking) made to order for casual dining or simply to take home. Over the years, we have certainly been highly considered as a local favorite. Moreover, we have been quoted as "the best Chinese food on the Westside" by several newspapers.
