Pollo Guisado, arroz blanco y tostones (stewed chicken, white rice and savory fried plantains) is what we are serving up this Saturday Battle Ground Farmers Market from 10-3. We will have our other favorites as well such as beef, chicken or cheese empanadas, Alcapurrias, Jibaritos, tostones and maybe just maybe a little surprise.

Should we do Pollo Guisado - stewed chicken with carrots and potatoes served over yummy white rice with a side of tostones.
OR
Our OG plate - slow roasted pernil (pork) our arroz con gandules (savory rice with pigeon peas) ensalada de coditos (Buelas macaroni salad).

Kids are back at school, families are getting back on routines and we’re gearing up for fall season. Our only market this month is on September 29. 2026. We can’t wait to see ya.

Los Coquis is working on a plan to sell food for pick up only from kitchen in Brush Prairie. Details to come soon. We would take preorders for a specific time. If we can pull this off we would be selling our OG plate. Arroz con gandules ( our savory rice with pigeon peas), pernil ( our slow roasted pork) and macaroni salad with a dessert and a bottled water for $20 plus tax each meal. It’s a steal of a deal and you would help us recoup the cost of supplies already invested. Please check back soon as we will confirm if we are moving forward.

IMPORTANT MARKET UPDATE ❤️
Our Los Coquis family needs to take care of family this weekend.
Due to an unexpected family emergency, we unfortunately have to cancel our appearance at the Battle Ground Farmers Market this Saturday, August 22.
It has been a difficult and unexpected couple of days for our family, but thankfully everyone involved is expected to recover and be okay. ❤️
Right now, our priority needs to be being there for the people we love.
We hate having to miss a market — especially after telling everyone we’d see you Saturday — and we truly appreciate your understanding, prayers, good thoughts, and continued support.
We plan to be back serving you that Puerto Rican sabor as soon as we can. 🇵🇷🐸❤️
