Turmeric aka magic yellow powder that can leave a crazy stain (known from experience πŸ˜…)

It has a compound called curcumin which is its most active ingredient that provides amazing benefits such as improving heart health, anti-inflammatory - so great for your joints and a must for athletes or those who are training - and it’s an antioxidant. HOWEVER, curcumin is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. So to gain all these great health advantages, just add some black pepper when you’re using turmeric.

Black pepper contains piperine which is a bioactive compound, this helps the absorption of curcumin - studies have shown by 2000% (healthline.com)
How? 1. The pipeline makes it easier for curcumin to pass through your intestinal wall & into your bloodstream.
2. Your blood levels increase due to the amount more of curcumin your liver has to breakdown - more blood flow means more oxygen & nutrients to the brain!
