WINSTON'S BRITISH FISH N CHIPS IS GOING NATIONAL!!

It started as a dream... Then that dream became a reality! What a journey this has become! We went from street vending to becoming concessionaire’s to some of the largest Events & Entertainment companies in the region!

The fanfare has been incredible! People LOVE Winston's food! From the delicious Fish N Chips to the Smoked Fish Chowder, decadent Royal Desserts, flaky Meat Pastries, and of course.... The KINGS WINGS!

Over and over we have been asked "How can we get Winston's Foods outside the State of Washington?" The answer has just come... In about 3 weeks, we'll launch a KICKSTARTER Campaign to raise funds to purchase the packaging and shipping equipment needed to make Winston's Foods available across the United States!

We are starting incrementally, with Winston's SMOKED FISH CHOWDER, which we expect to start shipping by mid-October, followed by special gift packs of our killer sauces in time to give as a Christmas gift, and then on to Royal Desserts, then Meat Pastries, and finally British Gourmet Dinners!

Our ultimate Goal is to create an Omaha Steaks-like package of British gourmet food for families across America to enjoy at special gatherings and events for family and friends.

Although we are doing what we believe will be a very successful KICKSTARTER Campaign in October, this is a GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY for Investors to step in right now and join the journey!! What is a Victoria Sponge Cake?

A Victoria sponge cake is a simple, classic British cake made from two light sponge layers sandwiched together with a filling. Traditionally, that filling is strawberry or raspberry jam and softly whipped cream, then the top is finished with a light dusting of icing sugar. A simple base of eggs, butter, flour and caster sugar - we simply refer to it as Queen Victoria Shortbread Cake (though traditional Shortbread has no eggs in it...) to help Americans understand what to expect in taste...

The History of Victoria Sponge Cake

To understand where the Victoria sponge comes from, it helps to picture the world it grew up in. In early 19th-century Britain, tea had already become a daily habit, and hosting at home was a big part of social life. As the evening meal crept later, a light bite in the late afternoon started to feel like a very good idea. The Duchess of Bedford is often credited with popularising "afternoon tea" around 1840, and once that ritual took hold, cakes that paired nicely with a pot of tea mattered more than ever.

In the early Victorian years, teatime cakes weren’t automatically the neat jam-and-cream sponge we think of today. English Heritage notes that seed cakes and fruit cakes were common, and there’s even the suggestion that a plainer, softer sponge may have been initially made for children, because fruit and seeds were thought unsuitable for them. But either way, the direction of travel was clear - lighter cakes (such as the cake we know as Victoria sponge) were growing in popularity.

So where does "Victoria" come in? Well, it’s often linked with the fact that Queen Victoria enjoyed a slice of sponge with her tea, and over time the cake became associated with her name. Whether it began as a personal favorite or simply as a cake that suited the era, it stuck - and "Victoria Sponge Cake" became shorthand for a very particular kind of British comfort cake.

The sponge itself also became easier to bake consistently as the 1800s went on. One of the biggest shifts was the rise of baking powder, which meant cakes could be made light and well-risen without relying on yeast or long methods. Alfred Bird is widely credited with developing an early form of baking powder in 1843, and it helped make the kind of soft, airy sponge we’ve come to expect much more achievable at home.

Our new POUTINE is the BOMB! Delicious Roast Beef Gravy poured over our tasty Piccadilly Chips, covered in White Cheese Curds and garnished with Green Cut Onions (Optional).

It is sooooo good I tried to enter it into the Fair to see if we could nail a Blue Ribbon, but after the Officials tasted it, they said regrettably they couldn’t allow it entry into the various judging entry spots because they said it was so good - it’s in a Class of its own!!! What can I say???? When your Hot your Hot…(And when your Not your Not). Come out and see us folks!!!

BUYER BEWARE: This morning on the super high Bungee Sling I heard they didn’t lock in the restraints real well and one couple were catapulted airborne!!!I Someone said they finally located the couple, 6 miles away in Hazel Dell!! Holy Guacamole 🥑 😀

Hey All You Great Winston's British Fish N Chips Fans!!! Today Winston's is cruising back out to the two-lane blacktop Baby!

LADIES & GENTLEMEN....START YOUR ENGINES!!!

Your beloved Winston's went to the darkside of the moon this past Winter. We had to shut down temporarily due to medical, mechanical and financial matters.... During that time we did some deep soul-searching and came to realize many things - the first being...GOD IS SO GOOD!!

While we were re-purposing our vision and business stratagem, the most incredible door of opportunity opened before!!

In 2025 we had the honor of serving The Cascades Amphitheater entire Summer Entertainment events - as the only Food Truck they allowed inside their own concession Food Court!! The Amphitheater is owned by LiveNation - the largest Music Concerts Company in the world! They have 41 Amphitheaters in the US alone! They also own TicketMaster—they are giants!! ALL of their food concessions are managed by another colossal Company....LEGENDS HOSPITALITY. That was founded by the NEW YORK YANKEES (George Steinbrenner) and the DALLAS COWBOYS (Jerry Jones). Thats who we are in contract with. THEY LOVE OUR FOOD!!

Little did I know, that in the 2025 Music Season we fed Excecutives from both LiveNation & LEGENDS.... About 1 month a go we were called into the GM's Office and presented with the opportunity to serve ALL of the Amphitheaters in the State of Washington for the 2026 Season!!

There are 3 Amphitheaters in Washington: Cascades Amphitheater (Ridgefield, WA), The Gorge Amphitheater (George, WA), and White River Amphitheater (Auburn, WA).

STARTING TONIGHT...We are serving Winston's British Fish N Chips for a 3 Day MasterBlaster Concert—The HighWomen....Brandi Carlisle, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, and Wynona Judd at The Gorge Amphitheater!!

We are also getting ready to launch a crowdfunding campaign to offer killer ameneties and even partnerships at various levels as we expand into large stadium venues... Thats Winston's core business competency...not street vending. We are closing a deal this very moment with the wonderful people at the Clark County Fair - we expect to be there in August for 10 days!!!

IN A TRAGIC STATE OF AFFAIRS...

In Asbury Park, Bruce Springsteen welcomed two legends in music, Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan, to an old bench overlooking the sea — the very spot where he once wrote “Born to Run.” They sat there, eating run-of-the-mill fish sandwiches... The disgust upon their faces was so obvious!!!

OH if they had only waited till this coming 2026 Music Season when The Amphitheaters in The Gorge, Ridgefield, and White River host Winston's British Fish N Chips, and their brand-new gobsmacking Fish Sandwich!! They could have experienced the ultimate Fish sandwich with your choice of 2 different secret sauce toppings!

Imagine a soft brioche bun, with Winston's delicious deep fryed fish nestled inside, then smothered in one of two different sauces! Choose TANGY with our scrumptious dill/tartar secret sauce or our ZIPPY sauce, (using our Wicked Sticky Sauce) with hust the right amount spicy....

Isn't it tragic that these beloved Singer-Songwriters couldn't have had the ultimate Fish Sandwiches from Winston's to make their moment magic??

P.S. Before they left that spot, the three carved their names into the bench with a pencil sharpener blade. Two months later, the city built a glass canopy over it — a small plaque reads: “For the Words That Never Left.”
