There are some people who feel less like celebrities and more like family… and Dolly was one of those people.
Today, it feels like we lost a member of our family. A woman whose music, laughter, kindness, faith, and beautiful heart found its way into the homes and hearts of so many generations.
Dolly has always been a part of my family. Her songs have been playing in our homes, in our cars, and in so many of our memories. She was more than a country music legend, she was a light. (My moms for sure)✨
I hope those beautiful butterfly wings are carrying you peacefully. And I hope you’re surrounded by all the people you’ve loved and lost along the way. Maybe even singing a little somethin with them. (Especially Johnny Cash)🎶
