🏈❤️ WEEK 6 TEAM MEAL! ❤️📣
This season has been all about celebrating TRADITIONS, COMMUNITY STAPLES, and the people and businesses who continue to show up for our Cougars year after year. Tonight’s team meal was a perfect example of exactly what makes this community so special! 🐾❤️
A HUGE thank you to tonight’s sponsors:
🔧 Jake’s Mechanical LLC.
🐖 Wortman Family Farm
🌻 The Putman Family
🔧 Jake’s Mechanical is one of our local businesses that keeps our community running, providing HVAC and plumbing services to families and businesses throughout our area. We are incredibly thankful for their support of our players, cheerleaders, and this long-standing Cougar tradition!
There are several generations of Cougar pride represented between the Wortman and Putman families. Families who have grown up in this community, cheered for the Cougars, raised Cougars, and continue finding ways to give back and support the next generation. That kind of tradition is what Cougar football is all about! 🐾
And speaking of LEGACY…
🍽️ Tonight’s meal was catered by Legacy Catering, who made sure our crew was VERY well fed! They also donated Banks and Mias Lemon Shake Ups 🍋🥤 for everyone to enjoy with dinner! We cannot thank them enough for taking such great care of our team tonight and helping make Week 6 another great team meal!
🎡 We also had a pretty special place to gather this week! Van Wert County Fair/Agricultural Society graciously opened their doors and welcomed us to the fairgrounds for tonight’s meal. The Van Wert County Fair just celebrated the 170th fair!! We are so appreciative of them allowing us to bring one community tradition into the home of another.
Week after week, these meals happen because local businesses, organizations, families, and volunteers continue to step up. Whether it is sponsoring a meal, providing food, donating drinks and desserts, opening a location for us to gather, serving dinner, cleaning up, or simply asking how they can help, IT ALL MATTERS! 🐾
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of this weekly tradition and for a community that continues to show our kids what it means to support one another.
