Hi friends…
Honestly we’ve been putting off sharing this update, hoping we’d have more certain and uplifting news by now. The truth is that right now we find ourselves at the mercy of the building’s insurance process. We never imagined we’d end up in a situation like this and we keep telling ourselves that everything happens for a reason, whatever that reason is.
At this moment, we don’t have a concrete timeline for reopening. It could be four more months, it could be sooner, or it could be later. We’re currently in the city permit phase of repairs, and much of this process is and has been out of our hands.
What we do know is how much we miss our restaurant, and how much we miss all of you. We miss seeing you, cooking for you, and sharing this space together.
Somewhere between devastation and hope, one thing is certain. We’re not letting go. We’re holding on, determined as we wait for the day we get to make the next post, the one announcing our reopening date.
We’re not going anywhere. We’ll be back, and we can’t wait for that day. So please don’t forget about us.
