While cataloging old Mountain View Police Department reports, we came across this one from the 1990s involving a man, a bar, and a 700-lb brown bear.
It felt too good not to share. Hope it helps your Monday start with a smile.
Narrative transcribed: "On 10/07/94 time unknown victim attempted to wrestle with a 700 lb Brown Bear at Rodies Bar & Grill located between Fremont Mo. & Van Buren Mo. As victim was wrestling with the bear the bear bit victim on right forearm. Victim treated and released from St Francis hosp. Victim signed a release form with the owner of the Bear."
