During a time of need, Rivera’s Taqueria in Valley Springs showed true community spirit.

On behalf of Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil and California’s 4th District, we proudly presented them a Certificate of Recognition for their generosity in supporting firefighters battling the Gann Fire.

Rivera’s Taqueria provided free tacos to crews on the front lines, offering both a meal and a reminder that their community stands with them.

Thank you to the firefighters risking their lives to protect our homes, families, and resources.

When our firefighters and community were facing a time of need, we simply wanted to step up and serve from the heart. At Rivera’s Taqueria, this community has supported us, welcomed us, and helped us grow—and giving back is one small way we can say thank you.
