About the Truck:
The Food Pitt was built from the ground up on passion, grit, and a deep love for family—especially Abel, the dog who’s been there since day one. What started as long days in restaurant kitchens and a dream of something more turned into a leap of faith: $15,000 saved, a broken-down food truck towed home, and months of rebuilding it piece by piece.
Through setbacks, empty pockets, and freezing nights, we kept going—betting everything on quality, hard work, and belief. Every item we serve is fresh, homemade, and crafted with high-quality ingredients, because we refuse to cut corners on what we’re building. From small donation days to sold-out events, The Food Pitt grew into more than just a food truck. It’s a story of resilience, loyalty, and building something real from nothing.
