OKAY SACRAMENTO… I’M COMING YOUR WAY ONCE AGAIN, AND I’M BRINGING THE HEAT! 👩🏾‍🍳🌱🔥

I’ll be in North Natomas for the 2nd Annual All Women’s Rib Cook-Off presented by Savory Dave’s!

I’m excited to share that I’ll be stepping up for a LIVE cooking demo featuring one of my favorite mushrooms — Lions Mane.
To my Sacramento family and friends, I’m calling y’all OUT! 😂💙 I would absolutely LOVE to see some familiar faces in the crowd.
So come out and show some support, learn something new, taste some amazing food and enjoy everything the event has to offer!

My mom was craving Tuna so I did her a solid and made tuna without the fish!
Jackfruit and Chickpea Tuna! It was a whole vibe on a Ritz Cracker and was so incredible y’all!

1,000!!! 😭🙌🏾🌱💙

OK y’all, so here I go again… but THIS time, there are 1,000 of y’all going with me! 😂💙

Today has been emotional in the most AMAZING way. 🤩

What started as my love for cooking, sharing my passion with others and creating food that simply brings people together has grown into something that continues to surprise me.

Every plate that I’ve prepared, every event I’ve shown up for, every competition, every television opportunity, every person who has tasted and loved my food, shared my page, told a friend, encouraged me, supported my business or simply hit that FOLLOW button has become part of this journey. 😊

There was something about today that felt especially meaningful to me. I spent part of the day talking with my sister about God, gratitude, purpose, alignment and moving forward in the things I’ve been called to do and what I’ve been visioning.

And then THIS happened. 💙

I don’t take any of it for granted.

To my family who started sharing my page today, to my daughter-in-law and my grandson Vinny Vin 🩵, to my longtime supporters, my clients, my fellow chefs and foodies, and to every new person who recently found me…

Today was fun, though I did not win this time. I’m still glad I competed and I got to try other vegan mac & cheeses from chefs and Sacramento restaurants. Congrats to Pho Fresh Conscious Eats Co. LLC Frog & Slim on your wins today! 🏆
This loss will not stop me from competing in other competitions because I know for a fact that I’m still a winner within myself. It’s time to start putting myself out there more so I will be back!

Today is the day y’all! It’s Mac Down Day and I’ll be competing with other chefs in Sacramento. If you didn’t purchase your tickets already, you’re going to miss out. Tickets are completely sold out and there will be no tickets sold at the door. Stay tuned for the winner’s!🥉🏅🥇
