These are the burritos we would sell at the football games and since we aren’t able to make it this season we want to offer them still! The football burrito is beans, ground beef and cheese. First, we will be closing early at 3:00 today, but that is beside the point of our post today.

Today marks 17 years that our mother/grandmother has been gone. Those who knew her, knew how much she truly loved serving others. There was never a time my grandma didn’t have her door open and plate ready for you.

Food was her love language and she was an amazing cook. It didn’t matter if she knew you forever or you just met, she always welcomed you in with open arms and a full plate. She didn’t care if you just ate either, you better be ready to eat again!

Our grandmother adored her family. Her sons were her world, and from them she was blessed with daughters and then blessed again with 13 grandchildren. We all have many memories gathering at her house to eat. She loved nothing more than all of us being together.

We keep her legacy alive with the restaurant her and our grandpa and our dad and uncles started 50 years ago. The open door to all, the food that we grew up on and a lot of you did too. The heart to serve people, long time customers or your first time in, we always have food ready for you.

Taking a moment today to remember who she was and how much parts of her still live on through us today. Her legacy lives on through her family, you could say she was truly blessed with the most important things in life and that is family and we’re so grateful that you have let our family be a part of yours all these years. Remembering you today and always Grandma♥️
