Florentine Pastry Shop Florentine Pastry Shop. Since 1928. The Florentine was opened December 11th 1928 on 605 Bleeker st in Utica NY by Joseph Borgovini and Vincenzo Gennaro.

In 1942 Luigia Gennaro moved the shop to it's current location at 667 Bleeker. Rocco Vitullo and Gabriele Alessandroni took over on August 5th 1963.Gabriele Alessandroni became sole owner in 1973. Debby and Andrew Alesia took ownership on November 1st 1993.
