Today, Sunday August 30th, the Tram encouraged our pals from Buy Nothing Utica to be " in person neighbors", friends, and keep items out of landfills while chatting, sharing, and giving. It was a great day and the weather held nicely for the garhering and giveaway!

There are BUY NOTHING Pages throughout the area, and you can probably find one in your address neighborhood. They are private facebook only groups that encourage community giving between neighbors without throwing things away or donating to faceless entities. It's not just about "stuff" its about people.

Look for a page near you. Start an official page if you don't have one for your area. Please please first look at the BUYNOTHINGPROJECT.ORG page !!!

Support our friend Ravin Wormwood doing an art & design pop up and Tarot Readings 1pm until 6pm .. they are raising funds for a very high vet bill that will help their furbaby continue to live their best life.

Doors 5pm for Utica Poets Society Spoken Word, Poetry, Comedy Open Mic . $3 entry 6pm sign up, 7pm start . 2 rounds.

Saturday 10am till 4pm. Tram relax.

Bring your journal, planner, scrapbook, sketchbook, current creative project, or just yourself. Basic supplies will be available if you would like to try journaling for the first time!

The community stationery supplies are donation funded and free to use :) Every donation goes directly back into Sip & Scribble through shared supplies, tools, materials, and future event needs.
What to expect at this month’s meetup:

✿ an optional prompt jar if you would like inspiration
✿ a shared community journal for signing in, decorating, suggestions, and optional contributions
