July 7, 11:40 a.m.

The main parking lot at the visitor center but for the back two lanes along the river and the connecting road to the boat ramp area has reopened. The boat ramp area has also reopened.

Trails are still a bit muddy, especially the eastern edge of the park at Ottawa and kaskaskia canyons. Waterfalls continue to flow.

🥎🏆 District 20 Champions! ❤️💙

Congratulations to our Utica 11/12 Majors on bringing home the 2026 Illinois Major League Softball District 20 Championship! What an incredible accomplishment for this hardworking group of girls, their coaches, and their families.

It’s been an honor for Bruce & Ollie’s to support this team throughout the season, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve accomplished.

Best of luck as you represent District 20 at the Illinois State Tournament. The entire Utica community will be cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️💙🥎
