We grow much of our brewing grain ourselves, on our small 5th generation farm. Our tap room seats 95 people in a cozy environment with view of our production brewery. The family friendly atmosphere is enhanced by our playground, outdoor games, and being surrounded by test plots of barley and hops. Enjoy one of our beers from our self service bar. We also offer a wide array of sodas, espresso beve

rages, cold brew coffee and cider. Feel free to bring your own food or enjoy meals from the delicious food trucks parked right outside of our building.

This week, we released our West Coast Pils: a true farm-to-farm collaboration with the Carpenter family, who have been growing hops in Washington's Yakima Valley for 6 generations. Austin Carpenter himself even flew out to help us brew this one and catch the final night of Riggs-Fest!

The concept of a West Coast Pils is simple: take the crushability of a classic pilsner and hop it with modern American hop varieties. Expect an aroma that takes you straight back to school lunch fruit salad, backed by a delightful hint of hop resin. We kept the bitterness moderate so the beer stays balanced, clean, and completely crushable... because it's a Pils.

Enjoy the fruits of our labor!

ABV: 5.5%
IBU: 32
Grain: Riggs-Grown 6 Row, Riggs-Grown 2 Row, Riggs-Grown White Corn
Boil Hops: Carpenter-Grown Krush
Dry Hops: Carpenter-Grown Simcoe Cryo, Carpenter-Grown Krush

So, it turns out that our recent distribution expansion into Chicagoland has caught the attention of some beer drinkers up there. If you live near Chicagoland, come hang out with us at an event this weekend. We'll have 6 beers on tap (including the Red Lager that this guy likes so much) at the Vernon Hills Whole Foods Market from 5-7pm on Friday. We'll be pouring Hefeweizen and Helles at the Lombard Brew Fest on Saturday.
