🫐💙Something Blue💙🫐

It’s the little things.

I might be most excited about this muffin. I have been putting it on the back burner for a reason, waiting for the right time and the right blueberry.
I wasn’t sure how to decide between fresh from the store or from the frozen section; neither option seemed fitting.

Not long ago, I remembered The Blueberry Patch, a U-Pick Blueberry patch near Mansfield. If you haven’t been, I suggest you try it out. We picked some the other day, and I knew these were the blueberries I was going to use, freshly picked.

I have to say, I am pretty pleased with how they turned out, light and refreshing, and they can serve as either a dessert or something to go with your breakfast.

You say you can’t do it, you probably won’t.

You say you got this, you will or in time will.

You have to be your biggest fan.

You want something? Go get it.

You control your cheering section.
Pick the crowd that will cheer you on, but will push and help you do better.

💙Mindset, Attitude, Time, Patience, Hard Work, Consistency, Determination, Discipline are key ingredients to success

~Calm in the Chaos~

Find the calm in the chaos.

Do you ever feel like you need to be here, there, everywhere? This needs to be done, that needs to be done. I could use another arm, another hour. Heck, there are times I feel like if I had one more of me I could conquer the day.

But that's not possible.

In the mix of all the hustle and bustle, take the time to find the calm.

🌄Sit outside/sit on your porch

🚲Go on a walk/bike ride

📖Read a book

📸Look at old pictures - this one shows you how fast time really flies.

🪴Plant those plants you've been putting off

💐Go to a U-Pick farm to pick flowers

🧋Get a coffee with a friend.

🛝If you're a parent and your child asks you to play, play. Be a kid again. If your project doesn't have a timeline, put it down and go do something with them; you won't regret it.

🕰️Take the time to make time stop.

~Embracing~

Some things in life are meant to happen. No matter how much you try to “control” the situation, it’s not going to change; it’s going to be what it ment to be.

The only thing left to do is embrace it.

How are you’re going to embrace it—that’s for you to decide.

📖📖📖I was gifted this book when I felt like my world was crashing down, which was the perfect time. I’m not much of a reader, but these quick devotions always seemed to be exactly what I needed to hear on the days I read. Now it’s one of my favorites gifts to give. Even after finishing it I like to pull it out on random days, and pick a random page - It’s always what I need to hear. Side note - it’s great for anyone to read.
