Cheers to all the Ironmen and Ironwomen who competed this weekend in Lake Placid! And hats off to all those who work in hospitality, shops, or restaurants and survived their own version of a triathlon on this important weekend. If Monday and Tuesday are your “weekend,” we've got you! Come to the Monday Tuesday Grill and let us pamper YOU with a home-cooked meal and some beautiful music. You deserve to put your feet up for an evening!

The Lodge Burger was a smashing success in its debut a few weeks ago. With its steak-seasoned patty topped with melted sharp Cheddar and house-made Bourbon Bacon Jam, the Lodge Burger is a perfect choice for this cooler week. Lasagna and garlic toast is also on the menu—including a vegetarian version that is a favorite of many. Add a crisp garden salad or Amish Broccoli salad. We have two delicious desserts to round out the menu: a classic Italian Tiramisu or an ice cream sandwich made with two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. That's a tough decision!

This week's featured artist is Kelsey Taylor from Wilmington. Kelsey is a stay-at-home mom of two youngsters. When she's not chasing them around, she enjoys beading beautiful earrings as a hobby.

There's something about a homemade chocolate chip cookie that just taste like love! Perhaps because the smell takes us right back to simpler childhood days. Our ice cream sandwiches pair two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream for a refreshing summer retreat. Available from now through Labor Day week!

Last night was such a beautiful evening… the flow of customers was so perfect that we thought it was a slow night! Turns out it was a pretty busy one! 😂 Caribbean burgers were sizzling on the grill while customers enjoyed our made-with-love slow roasted pulled pork over creamy mac & cheese. Refreshing coleslaw… Of course the ice cream sandwiches. It doesn't get much better!

Remember if you arrive and the parking lot is full, there is additional parking off of Ark road that runs behind the end. Just park on our grass and walk across the beautiful lawn to dinner!

Gathering with friends at Monday Tuesday Grill is a great way to end a summer day, but we sometimes run short on parking and seating. With some creative cooperation, we can make this work for everyone!

If we're busy and you've finished eating, please consider relocating to the picnic table/firepit to visit so we can seat others on the deck/dining room. If our parking lot is full, you can park behind the inn on our lawn along Ark Rd. Consider leaving parking spots near the deck for older customers.

We've planned a fun summer menu this week including the popular Caribbean Burger topped with our house-made mango salsa (good enough to eat by the bowlful!) and Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese. Vegetarians can top their Mac with a scoop of Sweet Potato Black Bean Chili! We have four delicious sides this week and …. drumroll ….
ICE CREAM SANDWICHES ARE BACK!! Having lost our baker to retirement, we can't promise we'll have them every week, but we're going to do our best! Ask Amy about the hilarious mixer fiasco! ha

"Summertimeeeeeee ... and the living is easy." Live music filled the dining room as hungry diners spilled out onto the deck and picnic tables to enjoy a picture perfect evening! Shrimp boil, summery side salads, the Lumberjack burger, and a summer cookout classic dessert made for a wonderful menu that was enjoyed by all.

We expect another great night tonight! If you have not been to the Monday Tuesday Grill yet, come down and see what it's all about! We have a smile waiting for you!

We're kicking off July with a festive Seafood Boil featuring shrimp, Andouille sausage, baby potatoes, and corn on the cob in a buttery Old Bay sauce – served with a Cheddar Bay Biscuit. Perfect with a side of Cole slaw or Amish broccoli salad. Our Burger of the Week is the Lumberjack—a Moon Valley patty topped with Pepperjack cheese, bacon, French fried onions, and a delicious Maple BBQ mayo. Dessert delivers summer picnic nostalgia with Grandma's Strawberry Pretzel Salad. If you know, you know. If you don't, it's time!

What a wonderful evening we had last night! Lots of happy chatter around the tables as town folk and tourists enjoyed delicious burgers and kebabs.

One man walked by on his way out and literally roared, "BEST BURGER EVERRRRRRR!" another woman turned back after placing her order and said "Thank God you're here!"

We are honored to be here and we will be flipping more burgers and grilling more kebabs tonight! We have a limited number of Keylime bars for tonight but Amy is also making double chocolate brownies so your sweet tooth will be happy.

You know it's almost July when the trailheads are full, bikers are everywhere, you have to wait to turn left again, and the Monday Tuesday Grill's deck is bursting with beautiful blooms!

In anticipation of July's crowds, we have added an extra table on the deck. We also have several picnic tables and Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. If you're a group of six or more, we can save tables inside/outside so that you can sit together easily. Just call or text Amy at 518-527-1155 to reserve.

Warmer temps inspired this week's “cool” menu. Our special is Hawaiian Kielbasa Kebabs brushed with a pineapple BBQ sauce. For the first time, we're offering a limited number of vegetarian kebabs featuring Beyond sausage. (Fingers crossed the sausage holds together on the grill!) Enjoy a Greek Burger—a Moon Valley patty encrusted with feta cheese and topped with cucumber, spinach, tomato, onion, and cucumber/dill Tzatziki sauce. Add a refreshing Cucumber Tomato salad and a Key Lime bar, and you've got a perfect late June meal.

We don't honestly know how old this rhubarb plant is. It could be 40 to 50 years old ... or more! What we do know is that it feels amazing to harvest fresh rhubarb from a plant that has fed generations and prepare it to serve to our community. Be sure to save room for some of Amy's strawberry rhubarb crisp tonight!

The taco bowls were a hit last night as well as the Gouda Burger. The rain has moved and we will have the deck open tonight so there will be plenty of seating! Grab a friend and come on down to the grill for a beautiful Tuesday evening!

As innkeepers, we welcome guests from around the world, and we've discovered so many beautiful words and phrases that don't have an English equivalent. For example, the Slovakian language has dozens of words just for love. We recently learned about the Chinese custom of dim sum, a small meal centered around connection, conversation, and togetherness. The phrase dim sum literally means “touch the heart.” Isn't that beautiful?

At Monday Tuesday Grill, our core values are also connection, conversation, and togetherness that touch the heart! We just need to find the right word for it. Maybe you can help us create one.

Taco Bowls are back! Cilantro lime rice topped with your choice of classic beef, peach whiskey BBQ chicken, or sweet potato black bean chili, and all the favorite taco toppings. The Gouda Burger will be sizzling on the grill. Don't forget that vegetarians can “Gouda-ize” their Beyond Burgers— fabulous! We're harvesting fresh rhubarb from our garden for a taste of seasonal goodness in this week's Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp. Add ice cream for just $1 more.

This week's featured artist is Leah Morrison of Jay, who makes beautiful bracelets. Leah just turned 14 and loves soccer, horseback riding, swimming, spending time with friends, and art.

Is it just me or is there a heavenly glow around this burger?! Could it be from the fresh grass and Adirondack air where the Highland cattle are grazed just up the road at Moon Valley Farm? Or perhaps the aura of anticipation of being topped with melted sharp cheddar and a smear of bourbon bacon jam? Or maybe the burger is just really happy that it's getting ready to feed a hungry community member!

We fed a lot of community members last night! It was a grand June evening with a mix of locals and tourists. The new Lodge burger was a hit as well as the mini turtle cheesecakes. Check out our stories for a photo of them.
