One of the most satisfying things about cooking is when you see someone take a bite, close their eyes, and moan with pure delight! Last night's crowd was delighted by the Caribbean burger with mango salsa, the Shrimp Boil with its buttery Old Bay sauce, the flavorful vegetarian Late Summer Chowder, and the Key Lime bars which sold like hot cakes!! (does anybody actually know what a hot cake is??)

It looks like a beautiful evening to come and enjoy one last taste of Summer surrounded by flowers, beautiful music (we heard Mingo maybe joining tonight) and smiling faces.

As pumpkin spice appears everywhere and our thoughts turn toward flannels and fireplaces, we'd like to push pause and give SUMMER one last fond nod. We're giving a few of your summer favorites one last week to shine before we pull out the autumn flavors.

Let's start with the Caribbean Burger—a gently spiced patty topped with sharp cheddar and house-made mango salsa. It's both refreshing and hearty! Next up is the ever-popular Shrimp Boil with savory shrimp, Andouille sausage, potatoes, and cute little corn cobs drenched in buttery Old Bay and served with a Cheddar Bay Biscuit. Vegetarians can enjoy a Late Summer Chowder with local roasted tomatoes, potatoes, and corn in a creamy Old Bay broth so you don't miss out on the seaside vibe.

Dessert may be a hard decision between Key Lime bars and chocolate chip Ice Cream Sandwiches (note: next week is your last chance to snag an ice cream sandwich)

Because sometimes one patty is just not enough! Could you fit your mouth around this double Swiss mushroom burger??! You can add a patty to any burger for just three dollars more!

We had a great night last night! The peach whiskey barbecue bowls were flying out the door! We are making even more tonight as well as FOUR sides for you to choose from. We are creating food warmer in your innards AND your heart!

Don't miss the adorable Turtle Cheesecakes - who doesn't love a homemade vanilla cheesecake topped with caramel, chocolate, and pecans?! We also have a good stash of homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.

Who else reached for their warmer pajamas this weekend? Mother Nature seems to have forgotten that August is still SUMMER! These cool temps are making us think “cozy,” which is why we're cooking up some good old-fashioned comfort food for this week's menu at Monday Tuesday Grill.

For this week's special, imagine our signature sweet & smoky Peach Whiskey BBQ Chicken piled over Wayne's creamy garlic mashed potatoes and topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese, bacon crumbles, crispy French fried onions, and scallions! Cozy enough to eat in your slippers! Vegetarians can top their mashed potatoes with roasted veggies and all the other goodies minus bacon.

The Burger of the Week will be Swiss Mushroom—perfect with a side of roasted veggies, coleslaw or Amish broccoli salad. We also have hearty and warming Sweet Potato Chili. Amy is making mini Turtle Cheesecakes and, of course, Ice Cream Sandwiches. Just a reminder that we only serve them through Labor Day, so don't miss a chance to enjoy one of these homemade wonders.

"Worth every penny!" "FanTASTIC!" "Falling off the bone tender." These were just a few of the responses to our first offering of Smoked Ribs! At the end of the night, there were literally just a few lonely scraps in the bottom of the warmer which our staff made quick work of!

We start smoking again this morning and plan to have 25 to 30 servings available tonight. If you don't get some ribs, we know you'll enjoy our other offerings as well. For example, the Lumberjack Burger was also flying out the door… One family ordered seven!!

Just a reminder… If you are a party of six or more and would like us to rreserve a table, please call or text before 3 PM and we will be happy to do that for you! It looks like a beautiful night together at the Grill!! 🍔

The Monday Tuesday Grill just passed our FOUR year anniversary on Saturday! The old saying, “Time flies when you're having fun” certainly applies to this adventure! To celebrate, Wayne created an amazing MTG theme song and video. I'll post the link in our stories. We may even play it now and then at the Grill!

After many requests and some fantastic staff taste-testing parties, this week's special is … drumroll … RIBS! Wayne coats baby back ribs with a house-made spice rub, then smokes them for several hours before slow-roasting in the oven for finger-licking tenderness. Served with Texas-style BBQ sauce on the side and creamy mac and cheese. Swoon!

In other food news, we are happy to announce that for the next few weeks, the tomato slices on our burgers will be from The Meadow Farmstead, a small farm growing certified organic vegetables just up the road from Moon Valley Farm whose beef will be the star of our Lumberjack Burger this week. We love supporting our local farmers while still offering affordable food for our community.

Vegetarian Tortellini Soup and homemade Carrot Cake Cupcakes round out the menu.

This week's featured artist is A. D. Aardsma (Jay), a wildlife woodcarver who's been carving at his Pondside Studio since 2000.

We were "bowled over" by the fan level love you all showed our taco bowls last night! At the end of the night, we scraped together what little bits of odds and ends were left and made a mini bowl and it was still delicious! We will have many more bowls tonight! Will you choose classic beef, peach whiskey barbecue chicken, or vegetarian?

The Mexican street corn was also a hit! we are restocked for tonight! The Gouda burger is also a fan favorite… Did you know it was our original burger of the week?

Peanut butter pies. Ice cream sandwich sandwiches. The goodness just never ends! (except when we sell out 😝)

It is another beautiful evening to enjoy our deck with the beautiful flowers. Inside dining is also available. We hope to see your smiling face tonight!

A recent reviewer wrote, “This is what local community gathering looks like.” Our community keeps amazing us, and now you've come up with another way to bless each other! Several customers have donated their full punch cards to be given to others who need a little financial help. We LOVE this idea! To donate your full card, just tell Amy (or you can make a $10 donation). To request a $10 discount, just say, “Darn, I forgot my card and it was FULL!” We've got you! ;)

Taco Bowls are on the menu! Choose your protein, and we'll top it with all the taco goodies! Add a side of Mexican Street Corn (a grilled ear of corn slathered in creamy cheesy herby wonder). The Burger of the Week is the Gouda Burger, topped with melted Gouda, caramelized onions, and house-made garlic aioli. Dessert is the mini Peanut Butter pies you all love and, of course, Ice Cream Sandwiches!
