Dear loyal customers and friends,
I am deeply saddened to announce we have lost our lease, due to upcoming redevelopment of the property/possible expansion, which I’m sure will end up being great for the downtown. I wanted you all to know this is NOT due to rent, all my rent was paid on time because of the outpour of support from our wonderful community and surrounding communities. I tried to negotiate, unfortunately it was not an option.
I will truly miss being a part of the community that I loved so much and hope we left a little mark on our beloved Historical Downtown. I wanted to personally say thank you to each and every one of you that have supported us, YOU kept the doors open and for that you will forever have my gratitude and a place in my heart. Many of you have become more than customers, you are like family to me and will miss all our conversations, and I wish each and everyone continued happiness and good health.
I truly want to thank all our customers that understood our odd hours, knowing that this was truly a little ma and pop shop that was being run solely by a caregiver. Your understanding afforded me the precious quality of time I got to spend with my dad “Daddy O” over the years. In less than a year, losing my dad to Covid and having to suddenly close my doors has left me heartbroken, but not broken.
Our last day is 3/12, but need time to move out , so tentatively 3/6 will be last day serving burgers. I’m on the hunt for a new location, if you have any ideas, know of anyway to help, I’m totally open to any and all suggestions. I hope to see you at a future location to be able to serve you burgers made with love and a smile.
