As of today Munchies Vegan Diner has been laid to rest. Degen (short for Degenerate) Munchies has just now begun to sprout.

Hey there friends! Just a friendly reminder that we are now closed for a 100% rebrand that comes with a few renovations to our space. We’ll be trying take advantage of this cities construction and focusing on finding ways to offer the best experience to our guests via food quality, hospitality, ambiance, and global branding.

At one point before the pandemic, we were known internationally to be the best vegan restaurant in America and we are now set out to be just that again.

I would like to thank all of our die hard supporters as well as our new ones for being here with us. It’s because of you why we will always continue to do what we do! But with that said, I’d like to also apologize if we had lost our luster over the course of the pandemic, just know you’re about to be very happy with what’s to come. I’ll be sharing sneak peaks and will host an AMA soon where we can knock out questions and talk about the future of Degen Munchies.

Yes we will be closing at the end of the month & our menu will be changed. But that doesn’t mean that we’ll be getting rid of everything😉

Munchies Vegan Diner is closing in 2 weeks from today (last day will be May 31st).

Because of how things are going for this entire industry as well as our DTSA 7 month long construction for the trolley.. we really needed to do something that can help us move forward instead of backwards.

So with that being said, our new restaurant, bar and lounge opening in replace: “Degen Munchies” (Degen = Degenerate) will be rebranded by a new crypto start-up I’ve co-founded with the projects main specialty is developing strategies that can help save or effectively grow passionate businesses who are serving their communities (in whichever way that may be for them).

Degen Munchies will re-open around June 14th with the start to a pretty much entirely new brand. We will be implementing a huge priority on matching integrity as well as quality on 3 main topics: food, service, and global branding.

New brand, new menu, new hours, new vibes, same mission.

Degenerate Munchies will soon be open until 2am EVERYDAY with an entire cocktail menu and just possibly a pool-table. Think study lo-if lounge on weekdays, and degenerate s**t on the weekends.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through the thick and thin. Also thank you to everyone who has respected our GM and our teams as well. We all appreciate it. Ultimately it’s because of y’all as to why we won’t ever quit. Just simply shift, evolve, and grow to best survive + serve our community for years to come.

Hope everyone has an amazing Monday. We will start to share more about the transitions soon but let’s just say they’ll be starting now.
