Remember the ice cream trailer will be open from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. today swing by and get you a sweet treat to help cool down in this heat. We have milkshakes, Dole whip, vanilla soft serve, chocolate, vanilla, birthday cake, cookies and cream, mint chip, strawberry. And all the toppings you could want.

As some of you already know, yesterday at the White Bluff 4th of July celebration, our ice cream trailer suffered a catastrophic generator failure. Many of you were there and saw everything unfold, and thankfully no one was hurt.

Unfortunately, without that generator, our trailer can't operate at our scheduled events. We had a full week of events planned, but those will have to be put on hold until we can get everything back up and running.

Yes, we have insurance, but as most people know, insurance claims don't happen overnight. We're not sure how long it will take before we're able to replace the generator and get the trailer back on the road.

The good news is we do have permanent power available at the restaurant, so we're bringing the trailer there!

Starting this Tuesday through Sunday, we'll be serving ice cream at the restaurant from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM each day.

We're not asking for donations or handouts. If you'd like to help us through this unexpected setback, the best way to do it is simply to stop by for an ice cream, bring the family, tell a friend, or share this post. Your support this week will go a long way in helping us keep things moving while we wait to get the trailer fully operational again.

The Good. The Bad. The Ugly.

Today, we're asking for something a little different.

We don't just want to hear what we're doing right—we want to hear what we're doing wrong.

Whether you've visited 1881 Smokehouse & Grill, ordered from 1881 Concessions, or had us cater an event, we want your honest feedback.

What did you love?
What disappointed you?
What could we do better?
Was the food not what you expected? Was service slow? Did we miss the mark somewhere?

Don't hold back.

The only way we can continue to grow is by knowing where we're falling short. We read every comment, and while we may not be able to fix every issue overnight, we promise we'll take every piece of constructive criticism seriously.

So give us the good, the bad, and the ugly. We can take it.

First off... THANK YOU!

We are incredibly grateful for the support you've shown us this week. Because of all of you, we've sold out of brisket every single day this week! We truly can't thank you enough for choosing to support our small business.

Unfortunately, that also means we're officially out of brisket until Tuesday. Our next meat delivery doesn't arrive until tomorrow morning, and with the time it takes to smoke brisket low and slow, we won't have it ready again until Tuesday.

Thank you again for your patience, your support, and for keeping us so busy. We can't wait to serve you again this coming week.

Also a reminder to get those 4th of july pre orders in before wednesday, we will get our last delivery on Thursday this week and cannot guarantee any large meat orders after that.
